Current Situation in regards to the COVID-19 Corona Virus Outbreak

Great News.


Now that things are easing slightly in the lockdown, we are moving along with the phases as set out in the governments guidelines, and this now means that we are a the position for members to return.


The club has now reopened as of Monday 27th July, and it has been good to see the return of members visiting and utilising the club's facilities again. 


Just a reminder that under the current government guidelines, upon entering the club, please use the hand sanitizer provided at the front door and you will also find sanitizer at various locations around the club.


Currently any scheduled events we had organised for example the members summer BBQ etc. are postponed until further notice, but we will keep you up to date with new information as and when it becomes available. 

We will continue to provide you with updates every few weeks:

Current Opening hours due to Government Guidelines are as follows:

Monday -         19:00 to 22:00

Tuesday -        19:00 to 22:00

Wednesday - Closed

Thursday -      19:00 to 22:00

Friday -            19:00 to 22:00

Saturday -      Closed

Sunday -         Closed

The Newport Club

We have now introduced a Beer of the Month offer which will change throughout the year. You can expect fabulous tasting guest bottled beers at a great price.


So far this year we have had the following beers @ £3 per bottle

The Knights of Newport-on-Tay Chess Club meets every Thursday Evening from 20:00 to 23:00 within the Club premises.
